Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

Yu vs. Dark Yu

[When the door closed and vanished behind him, his first worry was the one he'd entered the door with--only to see that he was no longer there.]

Sora-?

[But with no answer, he takes a breath and resulting sigh to keep his calm. Taking a step forward, he notices the water and smoke far too well. It almost looks like the fog of another dungeon he visited twice. All that was missing was the red-and-black pathways that made up the Yomotsu Hirasaka. And the red-eyed Sha-

Oh, you have got to be kidding him. It was bad enough back with the fog enveloped the inside of the tower, but to see himself with dark grey skin behind him from over his shoulder, and glowing red eyes... were he not used to Shadow selves, he'd easily state how unnerving that is. ...Okay yeah, it's still lends a slight uneasiness to the situation. Still, he's a leader for a reason; and he has to think of getting out to find his friends. Especially his sister and Sora.]

I guess you aren't going to simply let me pass.

[Noting the stance, he draws his sword and adjusts his TV glasses as he turns to face the darker self.]

Let's go, then... Yoshitsune.

[The Tower Arcana falls before him, and he crushes the card in a swirl of blue energy that transforms into his facade of the legendary general of old. It raises one of his twin blades, casting Heat Riser on Yu to increase his agility, defense, and strength before his eye glows and he attempts a Hassou Tobi--red-and-black ring around the Dark Self and all.]

[ooc: Persona list for your convenience, you two. Also dark beings tend to use red energy in summons in Persona 4.]

[Dark Yu watches his lighter double with a cold-eyed glare. He raises one hand and calmly pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose, and they glint in the red light from Yu's attack. He lets the attack hit him, and he groans in a voice that sounds like a deeper version of Yu's, but he doesn't try to defend.

As soon as the attack is over, the Empress Arcana falls before Dark Yu, and he crushes it impassively. The energy around him - red to Yu's blue - swirls and turns into Isis, who immediately casts Mediarahan to heal the damage that had just been done. Dark Yu motions with his hand, and Isis attempts to cast Bufudyne on Yu.]

[Yu says nothing in response, grunting as the ice falls on him. He isn't weak to it, but neither is he strong to it with Yoshitsune equipped. Though, perhaps that is to his advantage since he knows his own weaknesses well enough.

With a flick of the wrist, the samurai disappears in exchange for a golden dragon known as Kohryu, its red eyes blinking once as blue lightning played around its orbs. Enjoy the Ziodyne.]

[Dark Yu's reaction is near-instantaneous. It seems like he knows what Yu's going to do as soon as he does it. He crushes the Devil Arcana in the blink of an eye, and Beelzebub appears in a crackle of red energy.

Enjoy the Ziodyne being reflected back at you! In addition, Beelzebub casts Agidyne, as Dark Yu stares impassively back at his counterpart.]

[The Ziodyne reflected back at him is nullified completely, the Agidyne barely dodged thanks to RNG. It was expecting his attacks-?

Yu smirked faintly. It was about time there was a new kind of challenge. Though his Persona disappears once it casts Salvation. All in exchange for him drawing his sword. No more playing around, it seems. That, or he's conserving SP in this dungeon. Who knows?

He gestures with his hand once, cracking his neck back into place before slashing once. Though, it isn't just him attacking. As he strikes once, a silhouette struck down as well.]

[Dark Yu is quick to draw his own sword. He's not content to sit idly by and let Yu attack. Though he lunges at Yu with all his skill and speed, the silhouette manages to land a blow on him that cuts a line into his shoulder. Dark Yu growls, but he doesn't otherwise show any signs that he's in pain.

Despite the wound on his shoulder, Dark Yu only falters for a second. He comes back with three quick strikes, one right after the other, in an attempt to at least make Yu sweat, if not land a blow or two.]
