Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[She smiles, inclining her head in a small bow.] A pleasure, Chung. You may call me Ruler.

[Ah, and he hurriedly bows back a bit at that!]

So what are your friends like, Ruler?

[faithstaynight]

[Ruler can't help but chuckle, just a little, at his hurried actions.]

Are you acquainted with Princess Zelda? She is a very dear friend of mine I met during my stay in this tower, and I'd like to make sure that she doesn't come to harm.

[raichung]

[Oh! His cheeks turn a light pink as... a girl is laughing at him!

He shakes his head a bit.]

No, I'm afraid I haven't met any princesses here yet. I've only just arrived here not long ago. What does she look like? I'll keep an eye out for her.

[faithstaynight]

[Ah, a newbie... Ruler frowns a little at that. She'll have to keep an eye on him, make sure he doesn't fall into any of the typical tower traps... if everything is still "normal" outside of this blasted forest.]

She is a young woman, about my height, also with blonde hair... and very pointed ears. Fond of wearing dresses, and has a very regal air about her.

[raichung]

[he doesn't think he needs anyone to keep an eye on him though as he is a Guardian...]

I see... [Pointed ears though!] Oh, is she an elf?

[faithstaynight]

An... elf? [A curious look crosses her face at that.] I do not know. She has never told me that she was such a thing, but I never inquired. Perhaps she is, but perhaps she's a normal human instead.

[reshelling]

[nods] Rena is an elf and she has pointy ears. I see... well, maybe I'll ask her when I meet her.

[faithstaynight]

Rena? Is she one of the companions you are searching for?

[raichung]

Yes. She's an elf with long, pointy ears, green eyes and long green hair.

[faithstaynight]

[She nods, making note of the description.]

All right. If we are separated, I'll be sure to continue keeping an eye out for this friend of yours.

[raichung]

Thank you, Ruler! And I'll keep an eye out for your friend as well.

So, what sort of fighting style do you use?

[faithstaynight]

[She raises the sword in her hand.] I fight with a sword, mainly, but I also have some rough experience with a lance as well. But if you mean what specific style of swordplay... [She laughs a bit sheepishly.] I'm afraid I have no answer to that. I was left to teach myself or learn from watching other soldiers, so I fight with no particular sort of style.

[raichung]

You're self-taught then? That's really impressive! [And he truly means it!] I mainly use my Destroyer. [He holds up his cannon which is easily taller than him and he's about 6 feet tall now!] And these. [He takes out a what looks like a few small glass tubes glowing a bright blue.] These are Disfrozen grenades that I made myself.

[faithstaynight]

This is... a cannon? [A look of curious surprise crosses Ruler's face as she examines the Destroyer.] Interesting! Where I come from, cannons were never this portable.

Hm? This? Yes, it is! Though it's been modified with a Disfrozen engine so I can use El energy more effectively!

Really? Well, cannons like this have been in my family for a long time. Everyone in my clan has one and it's the symbol of a Guardian of the Senace Kingdom.
