[Dark World Event] || [The Evil Realm] || [Open] || [2/3]

Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.

Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[...Luke. Repliku. Luke. ...Repliku.

...It's probably far too telling that his expression while looking back and forth between the two of them is pretty much "way too used to this shit" given form.]

If that's a plan, then less talking, more doing.

[Kids. He doesn't even know their names, but he can only hope this won't end up in an argument, much less one as fiery (sometimes literally) as the ones back home.]

Believe me, I'm working on it!

[He'll shoot a pointed look at Luke and his Replica before making his next move, which involves yet another attempted Graviga.]

You guys keep firing attacks while I hold things. Got that?

[ Upon all these combined attacks, the ice dragon's strenght starts to weakn and slowly its attack becomes less frequent until it collapses dead on the ground, near-dead.

Meanwhile, the Skeletal Dragon flew higher, very very high in the sky. Those with good eyes can see that he's preparing to cast a powerful beam of darkness to finish the ice dragon, more powerful than what happened when the fire dragon died and on a wider ranger.

If they see hit they may have the time to move out before the beam of darkness hit the Ice Dragon (roughly between five and ten seconds between the ice dragon collapsing and the beam hitting the ground) and causes it to explode in an ice explosion, tiny ice shards dangerously flying around at high velocity and the ground becoming frozen all over the mountaintop. And of course, anyone coming directly in contact with the beam of darkness may be dangerously damaged.

But now only the skeletal dragon remains. ]

[Luke had a feeling that pain was coming; anything that went up that high and starting doing stuff like that, obviously had something going on.]

DUCK FOR COVER GUYS!

[Best time to run away? NOW.]
unkindnessof: so in an alternate timeline I actually use my other hand (shadow strafe)

[...what cover. The unmovable rocks blocking their exits, the shriveled roots, or the melted ice pillars?

Or the Anger Core, which is probably still too small to be holding off an attack of whatever magnitude it is the Bone Dragon's preparing?

He's not taking his chances, so even while sprinting away in the same direction as the others he hastily feeds a sizable portion of energy to the core, which, spokes and all, quickly grows to around their height even in its inactive state. When the inevitable attack does come at them, hopefully that'll be enough to block the brunt of it...

If he can get a chance to catch his breath he will, because he's going to be feeling that later. Where are mana potions when you need them.]

[Lancer was limited to close range attacks without activating his Noble Phantasm. Seeing that the dragon had no heart, activating it wouldn't have done much good anyways.]

[He makes a frustrated noise as the dragon flies up high. Is he going to have to use Gae Bolg's explosive form again?]

[Before he can even throw the spear, though, the dragon is blasting its dark beam at the ice dragon and Lancer looks to be caught in the crossfire. He ducks to the side, but it's not quick enough.]

Ah...shit.

[That's all he has time to say before being caught in the dragon's blast. He knows, even before it hits him, that this isn't something even a Servant can survive.]

[ With the two dragons born from his shadow dead, the skeletal dragon is now vulnerable to attacks.

It went down from its high position on the sky, and instead of firing at random, he would fous on particular individuals, turn to turn. As it appeared Lancer met with a terrible fate, it would focus on the others now: First it would focus on Raven, then on Riku and finally on Luke, turn by turn with a pattern: First a breath of darkness, than flying close to the ground to try and grab them in order to toss them out of the moutain.

On the bright side, while the dragon was focusing on one character, the other were free of movement if they weren't in the breath's range. ]

Spread out! That'll give us more time to dodge it's attacks!

[He wasn't sure if anyone would listen to him at this point, but it was worth a try. Luke started moving as soon as it started going for Raven, trying to keep himself out of the line of fire and think of a strategy. It was undead, and light based stuff seemed to work on it pretty well...]

[...did he even have any moves that involved Rem? Er... crap; he wasn't sure.]
unkindnessof: guess how many of these were shippy before cropping (power assault)

[personal profile] unkindnessof 2013-04-07 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
[The Anger Core is only starting to return to its inactive state when the wyrm once again readies another attack, Raven cursing before forcing the Core back into its shield form. The dragon's breath crashes down on him, and for a moment he is worried it won't hold- but it does manage to last, if only barely. Size greatly diminished, the gadget dissipates for the time being to recharge.

Drained as he is from having to maintain Core's barrier for so long at once, he can't react in time to avoid the flyby-

-and thusly he is grabbed, eyes widening in shock. While in its grasp he struggles some, looking to find some sort of leverage or way to slip free, but is unsuccessful in the endeavour. Mind racing, he tries to figure out some way to force the dragon to release him; it's while he's doing so that his left arm, with almost a will of its own, surrounds and covers him in the spikes of Charged Bolt.

The move is surprising to him, but he's not exactly complaining at the moment. Hopefully it'll force the dracolich to drop him anyway, preferably while they're still on the mountaintop.]
