Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

Tohko had been minding her own buisness in the library, reading and eating a copy of The Screwtape Letters when she had been teleported, book in hand, to the Dark Forest. Not that she knew what was going on at first. However, when she saw the faces on the trees, she remembered Ganon's story and drew her dagger, tucking her half-eaten book under her arm. She thought he couldn't harm souls like this while they were in the Tower..but a lot of things had been proven wrong recently.

She'll be walking around, trying to find a way out, Ganon, and anyone else. Please feel free to bother her.

"Tohko? What's going on?"

After having been tackled and transported away from the research library by a large hand that seemed to drop out of nowhere, Shion looked a little disheveled. But she was pushing her hair out of her eyes and straightening her jacket, when she noticed Tohko's familiar face.

Tohko turned when she heard Shion call out to her and walked towards her.

"Oh, Shion! Are you okay? I think..this is Ganon's doing. I didn't think he could..but these trees are similar to something he told me about earlier."

[uzuki]

"I'm alright. But, Ganon..?"

She considered that name for a moment while brushing the dust from her sleeves. She was sure she had heard it before, but she was having a hard time remembering when, or who it belonged to.

"Who is that? And why would he bring us somewhere like this?"

Tohko sighed, trying to think while she spoke.

"He calls himself the King of Evil, and while he's not actually a king, he's not a good person. He turned Lancer into stone and tried to do the same to me. He threatened to turn me into these trees and showed me an illusion of the library on fire. He was constantly bothering Tetra and Zelda in their universe. He's not a nice person."

"Oh! So he's from Tetra's universe. I see..."

That must have been where she had heard his name before.

"I wonder what he could be up to with this."

Tohko sighed.

"I don't know. It's either to get the power Tetra holds..or to get at the Administrators. Maybe. I'm not sure though."

Honestly, Kuwabara didn't even know why his sorry butt decided it was the best thing to get lost in the forest of all places. Of course, with his sixth sense and all the things in between, he was able to feel calmer but at the same time distraught at the strange aura that was surrounding this place. Or at least, it felt like an aura. Hell, he wished he knew what was going on.

Kuwabara was wandering as well, keeping his Reiken drawn. The glowing orange sword was giving him some light within the location.

At first, Tohko didn't notice Kuwabara, but when she turned around a few trees, she noticed him wandering around, holding a glowing orange sword. Tohko didn't know the guy, but that didn't mean she couldn't see if he was alright.

"Hey, are you alright?!"

Kuwabara turned around as she spoke to him, hearing the girl's voice instantly. He gave her a look before replying back to her, "Yeah, m'fine. There's nothin' hurt or anythin.' Hey you alright?" he questioned wondering if the girl was hurt or not too.

Tohko couldn't help but chuckle when the boy threw her own words back at her. He may not have been too bright, but he seemed nice.

"Oh, I'm fine for now. Don't worry about me."

Kuwabara was generally concerned with most of the people here, especially girls. Not that he's trying to discriminate. He's just that kind of strange guy that would do that.

"If ya say so. Do ya know where we are, or are ya lost too?" he mused giving her quick look.

Not that Tohko would mind or think that it was strange.

"Well..we're probably in the forest floor, which has been twisted around by Ganon, if you know the guy. I'm not sure how we'll get out though."

"I don't know who Ganon is, but it sounds like he's one tough cookie ta break down. So he's the guy behind this eh? I guess that makes sense that we're on the forest floor but it seriously doesn't look like it's the forest floor."

He kept looking around, "I guess the only thing we can do is move forward."

At the guy's guess at Ganon, Tohko sighed and nodded.

"He is. It's impossible to kill or even injure him without the proper equipment, and he almost turned me into stone once, amongst other things. He's pretty cruel. And I know it doesn't look like the forest floor..but I remember him telling me a story about people turned into trees that looked like this. Maybe this is an illusion of sorts."

Not that she really knew how accurate that was or wasn't. However, she did nod at the second part of his statement. "I guess that's all we can do at this point. If you want to, you can tag along with me until something else happens."

Kuwabara honestly didn't know who this Ganon guy was, but he had his share of villains to know that he wasn't a good person. He was only listening to what she had to say and he was already feeling a little pissed off at anyone who would do that to people.

"Are ya saying he's some sorta immortal?" he lowered his gaze into a hardened look. He had fought gods before, but this was something he probably had never thought of fighting on a normal basis. If he was anything like Yakumo, it would proved to be hell to handle it himself. Yusuke and the gang weren't around to help him win this fight. More importantly, Yusuke would probably be the only one who could take on someone like him, maybe.

"An illusion eh? So this guy's got quite a few damn tricks up his sleeves."

He didn't like it, "Heh, I was gonna offer that to ya. I think we should stick together jus' in case somethin' decides ta happen."

After getting over suddenly being dropped into a forest, Rena instinctively climbed up one of the horrifying trees for reconnaissance. She could almost hear the tree crying out in pain, but there's not much she can do, especially with the aura that smelled too much like corruption and degradation. She was most comfortable in a forest, even if this was a twisted, corrupted version of one.

Being up on one of the branches of the trees, she could easily spot the girl, armed with the dagger, cautiously walking around the forest.

Trying not to scare her possible ally, she changed her position on the tree so she'll be in clear view if the girl looked up and tried to catch the girl's attention by speaking as clearly as possible.

"Hello! Do you know what's going on in here?"

When Tohko heard the girl's voice, she looked up and spotted a girl with green hair standing in a nearby tree.

"It's Ganon! He's pulled us all here, from what I can tell!"

[swiftkicks]

With some deft movements, she quickly jumped off the tree and landed on the ground; this girl had information, alright.

"Ganon? This person has so much power to corrupt nature in it's entirely and drag people to this... forest?" She spat the word out in disgust- this place was not fit to be classified as one.

Tohko sighed and nodded.

"He was able to make trees like this back in his universe out of people. And he almost turned me into stone and managed to turn my friend into a stone statue. It would surprise me that he could do this."

She could only sigh on hearing the girl recount this mysterious person's actions. Yet another villain on her endless quest to rebalanced the essences of the world.

"That's... horrible. So I guess the only way out is to beat him up?" She'd rather not do it, but violence, once again, seems like the only option.

At that, Tohko nodded and scratched her head.

"Either that or find out how he transformed the floors like this and reverse the process. Destroy his curse."

"Ah, and I was looking forward to a good day's rest too..."

She stretched, and strung her bow. Ready to kick some ass. But hang on...

"Mn. Do you have any leads on where this Ganon is? I don't know what he looks like, so I might even have passed him already without realizing..."

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Any one of those people she saw walking around could have been him already.

At that, Tohko sighed and shook her head.

"I'm afraid I don't know where he is. However, I can tell you what he looks like. He's huge and built like a truck. He has a red beard and hair too. There's no way you could miss him."

Big man with red hair, as well as matching beard. She quickly tried to remember if she saw such a man in the forest.

Nope.

"Mn, thanks for the info. I'm sure it would be a big help~

I didn't catch your name though- mine's Rena, sworn protector of the forests. Which is why..." She glared at the nearest 'tree', sure that it was staring at her.
