[Dark World Event] || [The Evil Realm] || [Open] || [2/3]

Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience ~~and sanity~~.

Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors ~~of Mordor~~ leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[ A massive amount of darkness and wind focuses before the dragon's skeleton-- This is when the one behind the dark world appears in the middle of this dark wind. He faces the characters he's trapped in the dark world at first, but then smiles and wordlessly turns to the dragon's skeleton.

Anyone trying to get to either Ganondorf or the Dragon's Skeleton will find an invisible barrier preventing them from getting anywhere close them. More than that, the barrier will brutally throw them back if they try to force their way in or cast an attack. ]

[Luke grit his teeth as he struggled to stand his ground, raising a hand as he struggled to protect himself against the wind while seeing through the darkness. Finally, he slammed his sword into the ground in an effort to anchor himself, not wanting to get blown off the mountain when they were this close.]

[He could see a figure up in there... somewhere; or at least the outline of one, but with the darkness whipping around it was hard to see who it was.]

Who the hell are you!?

[So, this was Ganon, the man who had almost ruined the wedding awhile ago and understood nothing. chaos's universe wasn't the same as Riku's, but he could still sense the darkness. chaos forced himself to not be knocked down by the wind, even if he did have to take a step back.

He was not going to make the first move. Not until he saw what Ganon was going to do with the skeleton.]

Just what are you trying to accomplish here, Ganon?

Ganon...

[Just seeing him... just feeling that darkness radiating off of him makes Riku jerk forward, hands squeezing into fists, eyes narrowed. Briefly, he feels something spark in his heart... Probably his own darkness, but he pays it little to no mind for now, even though he still remembers what that sick freak did to Sora in the Labyrinth.]

[And chaos sensed what was happening to his friend and decided to help. If that went ignored, it wouldn't be good..]

Riku..calm yourself. Fighting while one is angry never helps.

[When the wind first starts blowing, Raven curses and attempts to quickly Shadow Step to the pendant before anything else unexpected can happen, only to violently meet with and rebound off a barrier of some sort. Twisting in the air as he's thrown back to barely land on his feet, he too drives his sword into the ground to anchor himself against the unnatural gale.

What is... A dark mage of some sort? And the skeleton...

This situation is vaguely familiar, and he hisses when he manages to place why: the figure who'd so suddenly appeared in front of them isn't going to revive the wyrm, is he?

The others seem to be acquainted enough with the man, so he barks out a harsh:]

For those of us who aren't acquainted with him, what do we need to know about this Ganon?

[And thus, Luke was very glad he didn't give into the instinct to charge.]

And what's he doing to that skeleton!?

[chaos turned to both of his comrades as he spoke.]

Ganon is a very strong person who interrupted a wedding about a month ago and tried to make it a deadly event rather than an even of peace.

As for the skeleton..he might be trying to control it after death, but I do not know at this point.

[The wind was strong, but Sephiroth managed to avoid being blown off course. He attempted to teleport forward through the barrier, but that did nothing but knock him back. He recovered quickly and stood again.

In case of another attack, he cast Wall again, along with Reflect, to protect himself and the others.]

My name is Ganondorf.

[ As soon as Luke had asked him who he was, Ganon replied. Thankfully enough, the others by now had guessed who he was. No matter, the king of evil focused his attention on the skeleton, even though he was apparently doing nothing with it. ]

Richtofen does not have the capability to grasp what true Power is. This trial was at his image, weak. Unworthy of those such as you.

[ Ganondorf put his hand on the skeleton's cranium-- At first it looked as if nothing happened, but then bright red lights appeared where there were eyes before the dragon burnt. Darkness covered the damaged parts of its body and slowly it came back to life and rose, flying back again.

This time the dragon looked even faster and there were no weak points to be seen on it back.

However this was not over. Ganondorf muttered something in old Hylian and raised both his hands. This caused the split shadows of the Dragon's Skeleton on the ground to raise as well, as if there was nothing more normal than shadows raising. They stopped when they were high in the sky together with the skeleton dragon.

They were only that at first, shadows. Before long the darkest shadow turned into a solid, pitch black replica of the original dragon, whereas the lightest one turned into a white replica of this very same dragon.

The three dragons breathed into the sky at once-- The black dragon cast a column of fire, the white dragon cast an ice beam whereas the skeleton seemed to be breathing pure darkness. ]

[There wasn't enough time to ask what the trial was for. All chaos could do was try to block the dragon's blasts and counterattack. Quickly, chaos summoned a semi-thick wall of ice to block against the fire and ice breaths. He wasn't quite in range to deal with the darkness..yet.]

Everyone, I shall try to deal with the dragon of darkness! Those of you who can use holy and other light attacks, follow me! Those of you who can use ice and fire attacks, work on the other dragons!

[And with that, chaos would close his eyes, and, in yellow light, summon two pairs of wings that carried him in the air.

Foolish? Yes, but it did allow him to get closer as he rained some energy beams onto the dragon of darkness.]

[Luke felt his breath freeze in his chest as he gripped his sword tighter. It'd been awhile since he had been really afraid, to the point where he wanted to scream and run as far away as he could...]

[But... he couldn't. He could not do that. He couldn't be afraid anymore, no matter how tough things got, no matter how frightening the enemy. How would he be able to face Asch or Yu if he ran? How would he be able to even live with himself?]

[He let out a breath, standing up straight as he pulled his sword out of the ground.]

Riku, bring them down and keep them down, I don't care how many times you have to cast that spell of yours.

[He raised his voice then so others could hear him.]

Magic users! Keep back and keep casting! Focus on one at a time, but don't be afraid to hit another one if it looks like it's going for someone! Long range fighters, keep back and protect the magic users! Healers, stay the hell out of the way and keep casting to anyone your magic can reach!

Everyone else, as soon as those dragons are down, look for an opening and attack!

[He tightened his grip on his sword, falling into an attack stance. Sorry, Asch, but that included him too.]

[Lancer, leaning on his spear as if it were a crutch, drags himself up next to the magic users. He hurts all over and still isn't sure how they got into a fight with dragons, but he's willing to do anything to help. He can either deflect attacks headed their way, or, if worst come to worst, draw a barrier using his runes.]

[Might wanna specify which Riku you're talking about, Luke, because there's another one hanging around. He may not have been as active in the first battle, but he's there for the second one.]

Not all the magic users need protection, you know. Some of us can do just fine by ourselves.

[He's assuming a fighting stance as well, after casting an Aeroga shield on himself.]

[Riku shoots his clone a brief glance before whipping up some Aeroga around himself as well.]

I can toggle between Graviga and other moves just fine, which means...

[Yep, he's gonna conjure up some more pressure around that Fire-breathing dragon. The ice one can wait.]

[Sephiroth technically counts as a healer, as he has healing Materia and a great deal of magic ability, but he's more interested in fighting, so he teleports toward the dragons rather than away. He has more powerful attacks that he can use.

He leaps up high into the air toward the black dragon and raises his sword. He begins to glow, a white light appearing above him and then surrounding him.

[[HEARTLESS ANGEL]]

The energy gathered around him slams into his opponent with a burst of light, an intense blast. It might not be as strong as if he were his adult self, but it's still a potent magical attack.]

[Luke glanced back and forth between the two Rikus (privately glad he wasn't the only replica present), and then over as the white haired kid suddenly went supernova. Well then.]

[He shook his head, making a mental note to ask Asch if it would be possible for him to ever learn fonic artes... and then picturing him cringing at the thought. Okay, maybe not.]

Good luck then, guys; stay safe.

[Luke focused in on himself as Riku brought the fire breathing dragon down, using one of the few buff abilities he knew to raise his strength. Once that dragon was in range, he was going all out.]

[Good luck determining which one is the replica.

And okay, he was going to go at the dragon, but then Gravity and Tinyroth happened and yeah, he's just hanging back for a few seconds.]

Yeah, you too.

[And as soon as the dragon is within decent striking distance, he'll go for it as well.]

[When each attack hit the dragons, they let out roars that shook the very ground everyone stood on. The black dragon took the most damage. Its wings struggled against the pressure all around it, barely able to keep itself up through the combined efforts of Riku and A'kin, and Sephiroth's attack left it shrieking in pain. It whipped back and forth in midair, spouting fire in every direction. Though it dipped closer to the ground, getting near it will be difficult while it's spitting fire everywhere.

Meanwhile, chaos's attack would draw the attention of the skeletal dragon. With a powerful flap of its wings, it propelled itself backward, shaking off the pain of the attack it had just underwent. It opened its massive jaws and shot a column of pure darkness at chaos in an attempt to envelop him in it.

Lastly, the white dragon soared higher than the other two. Each flap of its wings sent down a frigid wind that would chill its opponents to their bones. It circled the perimeter of the battlefield, breathing columns of ice that stacked and stacked, covering the immediate area in stalagmites of freezing ice. The ice closest to the fire dragon melted quickly, but farther away, it remained unaffected.]

[chaos smiled at the skeleton dragon as it spewed darkness at him..before he allowed his wings to dissipate, making him drop to the ground and avoid the attack.

He quickly snapped his fingers, once, twice, three...a total of ten times. The others looked like they were handling their dragons fine for now, and this one could be a huge problem if left alone. First, he would take this one down and help the people who were attacking the ice dragon afterwards.]

[...okay, everyone was going for different dragons. Internally, Luke wanted to facepalm, but this actually didn't seem so bad, considering the amount of people they had on their side. Maybe he was too used to a small party of four...]

[As soon as the fire breather was down, Luke when charging for it, ducking around flames and fire, while avoiding the more mundane problem of slipping on the ice. Instead of letting the latter bother him too much, however, he drew the fonons from the ice into himself, where he could convert them and use them in his next attack. Once he got close enough, he ducked and skidded along the ground, half diving to get under the dragon.]

[With that accomplished, he spun around in place, creating a circle of light around him, before slamming his sword into the ground.]

Chill! Guardian Frost!

[With using fonons from ice and water, Guardian Field lost its minor healing effect, but with any luck the ice that rose up around Luke would pierce it's underside.]

[So while everyone else seems to have the downed dragon handled, the still-airborne ice one is starting to get aggravating, even if the chill it's bringing is far better than the heat ever was (in his opinion).

Conveniently its attacks are actually creating decent terrain to scale, so. That's what Raven does while circling the field, between Shadow Steps as necessary to avoid the stray blasts of flame the dark dragon is releasing. The core also trails him like some sort of faithful pet, hovering no more than a few feet away at all times and blocking stray attacks when he can't dash between them.

When he manages to alight atop one of the taller columns, he watches it warily, waits for a moment when its attention is elsewhere, then leaps. He sights down his left arm for a moment, the orb beside him rearranging its spokes to instead take on a shape closer to an arrowhead, and then fires a concentrated burst of flame at one of the white dragon's wings. The core follows a similar trajectory, aiming to maim and puncture and tear.

The recoil of the blast knocks him back some, and as he lands after that Cannon Blade he tucks into a roll, intent on regrouping with the rest of the combatants.

...Did he say his skills were nonelemental earlier? He lied. He might've been neglecting to include a few.

Though he really prefers not to have to use them, but hey, desperate times desperate measures.]

[Lancer quickly sketches a line of runes on the ground, creating a defense against the fire and the ice for those who preferred to act at a distance. However, he's not sure how long he can keep this up.]
