[Dark World Event] || [The Evil Realm] || [Open] || [2/3]
Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.
All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.
Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.
Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patienceand sanity.
Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!
• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.
• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.
• They character may have found one of the black doorsof Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.
• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

Guys. The blue haired guy just... did something and blew up. Are you sure it's not dead yet?!

[Sometimes they really do just have to weather things down. That beast can't be invincible, anyway.]
no subject
Well, whether it's dead or not (he's banking on the latter, really), nothing to do but wait out the fallout and act accordingly then.]
no subject
Congratulation! You have defeated this dungeon's evil master!
... Something does not look right. It was easy wasn't it? You could expect the sky to clear up at least a bit upon the boss having been defeated, the ambiance to become less oppressive. But no. Quite at the contrary, lightnings can now be seen and heard all around. The sky becomes even darker than it was before and the normal wind become frigid.
Richtofen's voice, be it his mockery or complains upon the dragon being defeated, is abruptly cut, as if someone or something had ended his right to speak in this area. After a minute or so the fire extinguishes and the dragon is now nothing more than a skeleton on the ground. The Pendant of Courage can be seen inside his skeleton. ]

[He is so ready to haul ass at the first sign of danger, though.]

My friend, be careful. Perhaps I should be the one to touch it, since I do not get hurt so easily.
no subject
[Luke pulled his sword as he got closer, feeling his heart hammering in his chest.]
...just be ready to go for cover again.
no subject
And leave you to fight alone?

[1/2]
Most importantly, there was not only wind pushing back, but also pure darkness. ]
[2/2]
Anyone trying to get to either Ganondorf or the Dragon's Skeleton will find an invisible barrier preventing them from getting anywhere close them. More than that, the barrier will brutally throw them back if they try to force their way in or cast an attack. ]
no subject
[He could see a figure up in there... somewhere; or at least the outline of one, but with the darkness whipping around it was hard to see who it was.]
Who the hell are you!?
no subject
He was not going to make the first move. Not until he saw what Ganon was going to do with the skeleton.]
Just what are you trying to accomplish here, Ganon?

[His warp spasm took prana to maintain. However, the exploding form of Gae Bolg consumed most of his energy. Even though he wasn't limited to the prana supplied from a Master in the Tower, the sudden energy drain was enough to cut off the riastrad.]
[And along with the warp spasm, his rage also clears. He had made a good mess of his enemy. He had made a good mess of himself. He feels emotionally hollow alongside his physical numbness from having his body return to normal after being so changed.]
[Of course, this numbness doesn't last long before searing pain tears through him. It's pretty much expected. The warp spasm always leave him feeling tired and aching all over.]
[For a long while, all he can do is lie there, trying to get his mind to catch up to his body. Trying to remember why he was here, what he was doing, and what he needed to do from hereon.]

[Sephiroth asks the question quietly as he hops over to where Lancer lies. He is impressed by what Lancer had done, but Lancer seems to have exhausted himself. He can't leave a wounded comrade, can he?]
I can refresh your energy.
[He's a little disappointed at having only healing and defensive Materia, but it can be useful.]
no subject
[He gives an incomprehensible mumble. Now that his mind is clearer, he can recognize Sephiroth as the kid from before.]
...th-think I'm gonna be okay...
[He gives the boy a shaky smile and tries to will his limbs to move. He knows that warp spasms were exhausting, but it had been so long since his last one that he forgot exactly how exhausting.]
no subject
[Sephiroth mods, then casts another spell, even though he wasn't asked to do so:
[[LIFE2]]
Which should restore all Lancer's life energy, if it works correctly.]]
no subject
Thanks a lot, kid. I'm gonna need to pay you back for the help.
no subject
[Sephiroth says this matter-of-factly. Soldiers in the field are supposed to support each other, aren't they? He's pleased he was able to help and almost smiles, even though they have other matters to deal with. He'll have to ask Lancer about his attack later.]

Have some popcorn while they fight the dragons?]

But yeah, he's in, totally.]
