Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[Pshh, burns? Burns are for people who aren't immune to heat and flame.]

"Oi! Any bashers who can't take the heat, let us firewalkers draw the enemy's attacks so you can strike!"

[Among the erupting flame and falling rocks, a smaller figure flies toward the peak at a fast clip, appearing and disappearing erratically as it tries to dodge debris. As he comes within hearing range of the group, the arcanaloth calls out to them and then angles his dive toward the searing-hot Pendant. He may be more of a defensively-oriented caster than an offensive one, but if he can catch that shrieking guardian's attention and keep it occupied with debilitating spells, he can give the less fireproof members of the team opportunities to do some damage.]

[Luke raised a hand to try and protest against someone going straight through the flames, but... whatever this guy was, he seemed to be handling himself well enough. Well then.]

[Luke let out a breath, before unsheathing his sword again. Okay, just because he was tired, didn't mean he had to slack off. The white haired kid was already protecting them, so...]

All right... dragon. Fire. Do any of you use ice artes?

Nooooot at all.

My techniques are nonelemental, if that's what you mean by 'artes.' It's usually the weapon itself that's enchanted, but...

[Lovely, just what they need: a wyvern(?) raining even more fire down on them while they can't quite yet return the favor.]

I wonder... can we shoot it down? If we can restrict its movement...

I've got a few spells that might help with that. Graviga might pull it closer to our level, or I could try shooting some wind against it. And as for ice...

[He grins, turning his eyes towards the dragon, while the air cools around the tip of his weapon.]

You could say I've got it covered.

[Everyone will hear a voice loud and clear, mocking what Riku just said in a high-pitched voice.]

'You could say I've got it covered,' oh, look at you! Such a big boy. I am sure that you'll be able to take down the dragon all by yourself, hm?

[Richtofen sounds incredibly amused by all of this. He's nowhere in the area, but from the way he's talking, it's clear that he can see and hear everything that's going on.

His voice goes from pleasant to scathing in an instant.]

Ha! Good luck with that.

[And then it switches back to pleasant just as quickly.] I will enjoy watching you all burn and die~

It's fine with me too!

[chaos smiled at the person rushing towards the hot pendant. He might not have been the strongest person in the group, but it was brave that he should act as a decoy for everyone else. chaos would join him normally..but the people here might need his help. However, he did call out to the mouse-like person.]

If you need any help, please do let me know! I am not the only one here who can take the heat.

[He then turned to the rest of the group, ignoring Edward. Normally, he would have shot the person a telepathic message, but that might give him away. He had to use these things only when it was necessary.]

I can create ice balls and boulders, as well as a few other things. We shall probably be fine.

[chaos readied his hands, preparing for the dragon.]

[Luke rolled his eyes skyward.]

I am really starting to hate that guy...

[He let out a breath, rolling his head on his shoulders. Okay, it was time to be serious now. This... he needed to take charge; he was supposed to be a leader, an ambassador, an heir to the throne. This was his chance to actually do that.]

[This was his chance to grow up.]

All right. Casters to the far back. Be ready to move if any more rocks come down on us. If any of you are long range, hang back and take the opportunity to shoot, but focus on watching out for the fonists.

[Did... did that sound good? Did that sound leader-ish? He wasn't sure, he hoped it did...]

[ Following Richtofen's mocking of them all, the dragon would sweep the area with another column of fire as it was slowly coming closer to the ground, finally revealing itself to them.

The Soul Dragon: Almargorok was easilly dominating them all in size, as was expected from a dragon, its claws big enough to easilly catch and crush a human. With its large wing it created a wind meant to keep A'kin and other away from the pendant while it swallowed it, one way as another to keep them from getting it.

The dragon wouldn't stay long close to the ground, however they may see a red spot on its back, an obvious weak point. ]

[chaos watched as the dragon tried to blow back A'kin and as it swallowed the pendant. There was only one way to get it now. Kill the dragon. chaos hated to do it..but if there was no other way, then there was no other way.

He saw the red spot on its back and, snapping his fingers, sent two beams of energy towards it.

He heard Luke, but chose to not obey at this point. He had no idea what a 'fonist' was, and it was obvious that Luke needed to clear up his vocabulary and orders so that people from other universes could understand him. He was obviously new to being a leader.]

[And then, someone...or rather something barrels past the group, charging at the dragon even through the fierce winds.]

[It has a vaguely humanoid shape, but is covered in bulging, twisted, pulsating muscles and veins. It had long abandoned its upright posture and was running on all fours. Its dark blue hair stood on end and its glowing red eyes seemed to shoot sparks. As it opened its mouth to give bestial shrieks, it sent out what might have been a wave of pure rage and killing intent.]

[Trapped in this Dark World, Lancer had finally given into its rage and allowed himself to become more beast than man. Right now, its target is the biggest living thing on the floor. In other words, the dragon.]

[When the winds came, Riku snarled, pressing his feet firmly against the ground and leaning against the air currents. As the dragon came rushing down, he thrust the Keyblade upward, bringing down several pillars of electrical currents in the form of a Thundaga spell. Whether or not it hits, he'll be keeping his eyes peeled for any sudden moves and throwing up his Keyblade to block if need be.

He's not exactly planning on staying in the back, though. Why should he, when he's more than used to being a front liner?]

Guys! Stick with ice! And yeah, aim for the red spot!

If I remember correctly, my friend, dragons are also weak against holy weapons sometimes! And..I do not think Lancer can be stopped at this point. Get out of his way and let him fight it out. He is annoyed and cannot be reasoned with.

[At least, that's what chaos thought. However, he obeyed the redhead and threw a fist-sized balls of ice at the red spot on the dragon.]

A spell from you would be nice though!

Ah... I didn't know that about holy...

[...what was 'holy' supposed to be anyway? Well, whatever; if he knew what that was, and someone was attacking with it, that was fine.]

I-I don't have 'spells'. The only thing I have is a little bit of healing that doesn't always work.

[He was very proud of himself when he figured out Guardian Field. He just... didn't like the fact that it didn't always work like it should.]

[Well, this seems to be going well already.

With a flick and spin of his sword, he calls up a spoked, mechanical gold core to hover nearby, pulsing softly with its own light and crackling with energy.]

In my experience, regardless of any elemental weakness, they're a much lesser threat once grounded.

Even if that's not the case, it would certainly be helpful if those of us without spells could reach it. [Because it doesn't seem to be inclined to giving them that opportunity. Technically, he could just attempt to throw Shockwaves at the dragon continually, but with how mobile it is that seems more a waste of effort than anything, so instead Raven scans the dark mountaintop for any elevated surfaces, rock faces, ledges, something.]

[She skips forward a bit, before deciding it's easier to just float. Who uses their legs like some sucker when you're magic, amirite?]

[...see, this was why he was trying to get an idea of everyone's abilities. Right now, he had a guy that could maybe drag the dragon down, and a girl that could apparently fly...]

Hey, kid. [He gave an apologetic look; sorry he didn't know his name.] Try casting that spell you mentioned, the one that could bring it down. If it works, we'll be at more of an advantage.

[He looked to the girl then.]

What all can you do?

[In fact, he'll give his weapon a twirl, aiming a large dome of energy around the dragon with the goal to weigh it down via intense gravitation.]

Telling you everything I can do would take days! You're looking at the strongest and cruelest witch in the world, bar none!

[ The dragon screamed in pain as the attacks of chaos and Riku hit its weak spot. It would probably be hit by one of Lancer's attack, but before long it was far in the sky and breathing fire at them all again.

However Riku's spell would have some effect, the dragon getting closer to the ground and doing clear efforts not to fall too quickly. His efforts would create a wind stronger than before, trying to drive them off the mountain with the wind.

The dragon would breath fire at anyone trying to get too close to him, but especially in Riku's direction at the moment since he's the one casting the spell. ]

[Thankfully, Solas is not your average plant gal.

So it's no problem for her to set roots into the ground and send them over to grow back out as defensive walls for the others to duck behind. She does wince at the fire if it gets to them though. It can't kill her - yet - but ouch just the same! Fire plus plants is just unpleasant!

She's also perfectly aware that the walls won't last more than one hit...but that's one less hit the others will take, and she can handle that. She can make more walls.

She never was normal, after all.]

[Lancer is swept back by the sudden gust of wind. However, this gives him a perfect opening.]

[With his mind operating like that of a beast, he realizes his opponent is currently in the air. Thus, he too needs to be in the air to get his hands on it. Thus, he charges forward again and leaps at the dragon.]

[As his feet leave the ground, he holds his hand out, summoning his spear. He wants to rip his opponent apart. To completely eradicate it. The easiest way to do it would be to use the most powerful asset at his disposal. Even the mind of a beast understood that much.]

[His prana flows into the spear as he arches his back, and then hurls it with all his strength. Sounds that might or might not be words emerge from his throat.]

GAE BOLG!!!!!!!!!

[This is the true use of Gae Bolg. As a throwing weapon that explodes in a massive burst of energy. Even a Servant would be incinerated or heavily wounded should they be targeted.]

[When he hears Richtofen's mocking voice, A'kin snarls and pushes even faster toward the Pendant- only to be knocked around by the unexpected gale. He's able to use his telekinesis to arrest the momentum somewhat, but he's still pushed back quite a ways and by the time he recovers his equilibrium, the dragon has already swallowed the prize and taken to the air once more.

Making another attempt to draw its fire away from the more vulnerable combatants, he flies towards the monster, taking advantage of the fact that it's out of their range to unleash a waves of fatigue spell. This time, he's attending closely to the beast's movements and is prepared to teleport if it should try to blow him about again.]

[Asch's voice is a bit strained, but also... approving? Either way, he closes the connection quickly, so that the pain won't distract Luke from the incoming battle.]

[Ugh... but he did have a point. He totally would have charged in head first if Asch hadn't said anything.]
